About Me
My name is Jett Mitchell, I am a Michigan State University Alumni with a BFA in Graphic Design and Apparel and Textile Design. I started out in college solely majoring in Graphic Design and after my first semester I decided to follow one of my childhood dreams and major in fashion. My college experience has led me to learn about my interests, my style, and who I am as a designer.
Vivid. Eclectic. Intricate
These are words I would use to describe my design process, and my way of thinking through my everyday life. I've found that I like to gather lots of information and start with the fine details. I am a collector of knowledge and I like to understand things as much as possible. This informs what I allow to stand out in my work. I draw from my identity, stories I've read, things that I experience, and even ideas I had as a kid. My personal philosophy is thinking small first translates to big and bold ideas.
